Marta and Tibor’s getting ready was the modern W Hotel in Hoboken, New Jersey. Their suite’s view of the New York City skyline was absolutely amazing, and tops our list as the most posh bridal suite we have ever been to.  Hopefully we get to photograph another Hoboken wedding at this contemporary hotel again!

Hoboken Engagement Photography | Tavi + na

“I took out two red strings and wore them on our wrists. We kissed each other. Finally, we promised to be together.” – Na

His name is Tavi and her name is Na. Their story is simple: they met in college and fell in love. They went to their favorite Cantonese cuisine, walked along the river and shared happiness and unhappiness together. Tavi decided to pursue a Ph.D degree in the U.S and Na followed. It wasn’t easy. At times, the stress and anxiety of getting into the same school and staying together were overwhelming. Na told us they were lucky to get accepted into the same school in Hoboken. To us, it wasn’t just luck. It was  their determination and their promise to be together that lead them here today.
