February 1, 2012Trying to play a little bit of catch up with our blog. You will see some familiar photos from our New York wedding photography gallery. We’re also looking to incorporate some more behind-the-scenes, so stay tuned!
First up is a wedding we shot back in 2009 in Forest Hills, Queens (New York). Like an episode of Amazing Race, we traveled all over New York City, starting with the hair session down the street in Queens, to the ceremony in Church of the Garden on Ascan Ave in the Forest Hills Gardens, to the short wedding portrait session near Brooklyn Heights and DUMBO, and to the wedding reception in Midtown Manhattan. New Jersey Chinese Wedding | Jing + Le
October 2, 2009So, what shall we sing tonight?
The most entertaining part of Jing and Le’s wedding reception would be the wedding MC singing the most obnoxious song he could think of. It was a Chinese song named “Grand Shanghai” that was the theme of an Asian movie depicting the 1930′s Chinese mafia. As wedding photographers, of course, we had to snap a few photos of him standing one leg on the chair and blasting the rhythms of the infamous tune. Obnoxious, but he was entertaining. Everyone in the audience, including us, got a good laugh out of it. To our knowledge, he is even capable of movie theme songs from different languages and countries and he has performed in various cultural weddings all around Boston, New Jersey, NYC and many other cities.
